At Gamescom 2023, they announced a new game called “Delta Force: Hawk Ops,” which is a revival of the classic FPS series that started in 1998. This game will be available on mobile, consoles, and PC, but they haven’t told us the release date yet. You can sign up early if you want to play it.
The game will have a campaign mode and a large-scale, immersive PvP multiplayer mode. This marks a fresh start for the well-loved series.
The first Delta Force game was developed by NovaLogic, but the studio closed down and was later bought by THQ. Now, TiMi Studio Group is working on the game, and Level Infinite is publishing it, bringing this classic franchise back to life.
Delta Force Hawk Ops Overview
Unlike the original games, which were more military simulation-style, Hawk Ops is taking things to the next level. It will introduce high-tech gadgets and warfare on a scale never seen before in the series.
In “Delta Force: Hawk Ops,” there will be three main modes to play:
- Campaign Mode: It’s called “Black Hawk Down,” and it features characters from the 2004 game.
- Extraction Mode: This seems to be a bit like the game Escape from Tarkov.
- Large-Scale PvP: This is all about big battles with lots of players and different vehicles on a huge map.
No matter which mode you choose, the game will focus on tactical combat. When the game launches, it will have four different classes of operators you can play as.
The people behind the game want to bring back the spirit of the original Delta Force games while also making it feel modern and fun for players of all skill levels, whether you’re playing on a console, your phone, or a PC.
